The Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN) is a nonprofit organization that serves low-income men, women, and children in immigration proceedings. Through our pro bono programs, we connect volunteer attorneys with individuals in need of representation in their immigration removal proceedings. Attorneys can choose to work with our detention program, serving individuals detained at the Aurora immigration detention center, or with our children’s program, serving children and families in removal proceedings in Denver, CO, or both! Each volunteer attorney is given an orientation at the outset of the case, connected with a mentor, and is granted access to a library of resources. No prior immigration experience is required.
