Colorado Legal Services received a Pro Bono Innovation Fund grant from the Legal Services Corporation in 2014 and again in 2016. Because of the grant we have been able to initiate programs that use Denver metro area lawyers to staff remotely pro bono legal clinics to serve low-income clients in many rural communities where services are limited. Remote Unbundled Pro Bono Panel for Rural Coloradans. Volunteer attorneys can provide unbundled services remotely to clients. This service is a limited time commitment that provides substantial help to rural, low-income clients to help them with the legal services they and their families need and is offered remotely via phone and email and can be done from your home or office. Services may include: legal advice, document preparation, negotiations and hearing preparation. This clinic never asks or expects you to travel to provide representation at a hearing.
